Calistrat Trişcu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Calistrat Trişcu was a little too slow when Andrei Vârjean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 11th minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Aurel Halipa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Aurel Halipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrei Vârjean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Calistrat Trişcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrei Vârjean scored 6-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Calistrat Trişcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Rasti AS's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Vârjean came free, but Calistrat Trişcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Trişcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Răduț in the 33rd minute of play. If Flavius Stroie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Rasti AS's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Răduț came free, but Calistrat Trişcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rasti AS's Calistrat Trişcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Mușătescu in the 41st minute of play. Calistrat Trişcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Vârjean, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mugurel Răduț kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Felix Nisporeanu notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Rasti AS's Calistrat Trişcu. Calistrat Trişcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fotbal Club Vaslui fully deserved thier win.
