Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Juventus Țiu's Ilie Armeanca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Juventus Țiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Cîrțu to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Armeanca came free, but Damian Tender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Nicolae came free, but Damian Tender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RED BLUE STAR's Damian Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Armeanca in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute Avram Valerian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Tender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Grigore Buzgar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Nicolae in the 24th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Damian Tender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avram Valerian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Tender having to interfere. Avram Valerian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st match minute, Juventus Țiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Valerian to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Juventus Țiu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Panaitoiu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Denis Bologa got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute of the match Victor Răcănel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marius Bălașa skillfully saved the ball. In the 53rd minute Albert Panaitoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Bălașa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, RED BLUE STAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Panaitoiu to maneuver through the defense. Damian Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Armeanca in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Mihail Ignătoiu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
