Rasti AS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Rasti AS booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Şoltuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jo Bag during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jo Bag hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Jo Bag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galati Harbour Cats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If George Agachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Sorin Ciolofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Trişcu came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Petruț Vlăsiu. But to his dismay, Petruț Vlăsiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 30 minutes of play, Galati Harbour Cats's Petruț Vlăsiu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Trişcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute George Agachi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Trişcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Andone during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Andone to maneuver through the defense. Petruț Vlăsiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Calistrat Trişcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Alin Şoltuz got a free kick in the 46th minute. Eugen Băbescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Manole Ghiondea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petruț Vlăsiu was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Galati Harbour Cats's Petruț Vlăsiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 64th minute Petruț Vlăsiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Trişcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Horia Zâncă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute of the match, Sebastian Andone got a very nice opportunity to score, but Calistrat Trişcu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 78 minutes into the match, Rasti AS's goalkeeper Calistrat Trişcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petruț Vlăsiu. 80 minutes into the game, Flavius Stroie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Manole Ghiondea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 83 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Andone. Dacian Codrea hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd play minute Sebastian Andone came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Calistrat Trişcu. 1-7. Sebastian Andone kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Galati Harbour Cats played a much better game than Rasti AS and deserved their victory. The Rasti AS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
