Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrei Vârjean got the match started through his kick off. Víglundur von der Schulenburg hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Zbuchea in the 9th minute of play. After 13 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Puișoru. 20 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Zbuchea came free, but Gigel Rânceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Vârjean got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Aurel Halipa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fotbal Club Vaslui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. YKE the free kick. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Macrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgil Macrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Rânceanu having to interfere. Gigel Rânceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Zbuchea went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half F.C. YKE were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marin Zbuchea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Aurel Halipa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. The referee ignored Fotbal Club Vaslui's protests and gave Andrei Vârjean a yellow card for diving instead. Andrei Vârjean kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match.
