Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ilie Armeanca took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Ilie Armeanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Felix Nisporeanu got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Víglundur von der Schulenburg got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Juventus Țiu got a freekick which was hit by Luca Panțâru. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbal Club Vaslui's zone, Sabin Nicolae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Rânceanu came out of the goal and Sabin Nicolae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihail Ignătoiu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Mugurel Răduț, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gigel Rânceanu made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ilie Armeanca sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 25 minutes, Andrei Vârjean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Vârjean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Panțâru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Rânceanu having to interfere. Fotbal Club Vaslui's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Ilie Armeanca scored to the left of an out of position Gigel Rânceanu, making the score, 1-0. Gică Comarnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Juventus Țiu getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Traian Codin hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Vârjean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Liviu Mușătescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marius Bălașa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Armeanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Sabin Nicolae got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Juventus Țiu booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Geamănu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Armeanca took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Rânceanu. Gigel Rânceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gică Comarnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Marius Bălașa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Vârjean in the 74th minute of the match. Gigel Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Armeanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Ilie Armeanca notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu. Gigel Rânceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luca Panțâru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Rânceanu having to interfere. Gigel Rânceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilie Armeanca's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Juventus Țiu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fotbal Club Vaslui had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
