After 2 minutes, Sebastian Andone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galati Harbour Cats and the RED BLUE STAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Andone to maneuver through the defense. Panait Acalinei hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Jo Bag. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Alin Şoltuz got a free kick in the 15th minute. Victor Răcănel, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Manole Ghiondea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Panaitoiu in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Andone to maneuver through the defense. Damian Tender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Neagoe in the 24th minute of play. Iustin Neagoe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 64th minute, Octav Ciocan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Manciulea during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabriel Manciulea hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Panaitoiu in the 71st minute of play. If Victor Răcănel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manole Ghiondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Panaitoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Mavrogheni kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sebastian Andone was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
