Ciprian Eniceicu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horia Hulubei having to make a save. Horia Hulubei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Eniceicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radu Arapașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horia Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Eniceicu in the 26th minute of the match. Ciprian Eniceicu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horia Hulubei firmly grabbed it by the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Milan Futuro's goal looked a bit too open when J.J Ares came free, but Radu Domide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ares FC -MM-'s zone, Ciprian Eniceicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horia Hulubei came out of the goal and Ciprian Eniceicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Ciprian Eniceicu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milan Futuro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ares FC -MM- the free kick. After 41 played minutes Milan Futuro got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Eniceicu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell J.J Ares to make the kick off. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Iacob Ares hit a great ball. Horia Hulubei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Eniceicu in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Milan Futuro's Sabin Macovei got a free kick in the 68th minute. With an all-out effort, Ares FC -MM-'s Radu Domide threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denis Pădureanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ciprian Eniceicu sped through Ares FC -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horia Hulubei. Milan Futuro made a substitution. Emil Sângeorzan replaced Ciprian Eniceicu. A collision led to Ares FC -MM- getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Radu Arapașu hit a great ball. Emil Sângeorzan struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Horia Hulubei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milan Futuro. The supporters of Ares FC -MM- booed when Milan Futuro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristide Boltașu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Milan Futuro's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Pădureanu came free, but Radu Domide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Sângeorzan in the 84th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Horia Hulubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
