Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Emilian Comăneci got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Otomani's Adam Teodor got control of the ball when Gustavo-Hernán Colidio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Emilian Comăneci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Teodor. Otomani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilian Comăneci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Alin Bucataru's late challenge caught a Otomani's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alin Bucataru helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilian Comăneci got free with Adam Teodor in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otomani's Adam Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo-Hernán Colidio in the 19th minute of play. A hard shot 26 in the game by Emilian Comăneci from a close distance when the talented Adam Teodor managed to make a qualified save. Otomani's players were relieved. After 30 played minutes Otomani got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Nicolcioiu. Ioan Ghinescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Teodor. Otomani's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Liviu Hănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Emilian Comăneci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BANAT VIOLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Mugur Albuț who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Emilio Miconi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emilio Miconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Novăceanu in the 55th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Emilian Comăneci in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Adam Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Colidio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Otomani's zone, Emilian Comăneci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Teodor came out of the goal and Emilian Comăneci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mugur Albuț came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Otomani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Albuț couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, Liviu Hănescu notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Otomani's Adam Teodor. Adam Teodor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 80 played minutes Otomani got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Albuț. Emilian Comăneci took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Teodor. Adam Teodor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Adam Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Comăneci, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Mugur Albuț made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Miconi. BANAT VIOLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 92nd minute, Emilian Comăneci made a precise shot to the right of Adam Teodor. Otomani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. In the 95th minute, Remus Vasiliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mugur Albuț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Emilio Miconi made a huge save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BANAT VIOLA fully deserved thier win.
