Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mike Cai kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Cai. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Mike Cai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ionel Panaitoiu. The goal made the score 1-0. Horaţiu Dinulescu took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgil Olariu. Virgil Olariu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Anton Păun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgil Olariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Mike Cai might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionel Panaitoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mike Cai ran back to his position shaking his head. Ionel Panaitoiu made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mike Cai sent off a good shot on target. Ionel Panaitoiu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Paralia Athens's Mike Cai. But to his dismay, Mike Cai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Gheorghe Dorineanu with Anton Păun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Paralia Athens's Mike Cai in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phoenix Strikers's goalie prevented a goal. Ionel Panaitoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mike Cai's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Mike Cai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionel Panaitoiu was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. A collision led to Phoenix Strikers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gheorghe Dorineanu hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Gheorghe Dorineanu with Marin Pietreanu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ionel Panaitoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Cai in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horaţiu Dinulescu made a kick off. Mike Cai might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionel Panaitoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mike Cai ran back to his position shaking his head. Ionel Panaitoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Cai in the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix Strikers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Taibo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paralia Athens's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Mike Cai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionel Panaitoiu was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Horaţiu Dinulescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Virgil Olariu however easily saved by the left post. Ionel Panaitoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Cai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Emilian Râznicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Taibo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Ionel Panaitoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paralia Athens. The audience was convinced that Mike Cai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionel Panaitoiu was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Ionel Panaitoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 74th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Văidianu to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Petru Văidianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionel Panaitoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürkan Akaydın's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 78 minutes, Gürkan Akaydın made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Phoenix Strikers's Ionel Panaitoiu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute Mike Cai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Panaitoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cazimir Ceaușu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes, Paralia Athens's Gonzalo Taibo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ionel Panaitoiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paralia Athens reached it. Ionel Panaitoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mike Cai's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, Paralia Athens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Văidianu to maneuver through the defense. Paralia Athens's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
