Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Navigatii Bacău's Jannik Roblaa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Adam Rywin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UFC STEAUA's Felix Cosoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannik Roblaa in the 5th minute of play. Jannik Roblaa in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Cosoreanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. UFC STEAUA's Felix Cosoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jannik Roblaa in the 9th minute of play. UFC STEAUA's Felix Cosoreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save UFC STEAUA from getting a goal against them. Cristian Mirciu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson Mendoza's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Costică Mangra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cristian Mirciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper Felix Cosoreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jannik Roblaa. Cristian Mirciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Jobo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Nelson Mendoza managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC STEAUA's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelson Mendoza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Mirciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelson Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Mirciu having to interfere. After 44 minutes of play, UFC STEAUA's Hermengildo Jobo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Mirciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nelson Mendoza was the one to do the kick off. Nelson Mendoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cristian Mirciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Jobo came free, but Cristian Mirciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Navigatii Bacău's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nelson Mendoza was slow to take the kick. During this time UFC STEAUA's players had a chance to rest. Iosif Călin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jannik Roblaa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Cosoreanu saved UFC STEAUA from getting behind. UFC STEAUA's Nelson Mendoza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Rywin during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adam Rywin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Emanuel Gheorghe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navigatii Bacău's Cristian Mirciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Jannik Roblaa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navigatii Bacău fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 79th minute, Iosif Macamete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Jannik Roblaa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Cosoreanu. UFC STEAUA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jannik Roblaa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 91stth minute of the game Nelson Mendoza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navigatii Bacău's Cristian Mirciu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, UFC STEAUA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
