Nicu Arghirescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corneliu Tătaru. Albert Comișel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Horea's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Sebastian Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Horea scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Comișel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Tătaru came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Romeo Ungur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportiv Medgidia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arabesque -MM- the free kick. Albert Comișel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Horea, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corneliu Tătaru. Petru Cristocea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Horea in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Comișel saved Arabesque -MM- from getting behind. After some careless play in the Arabesque -MM- defense, Augustin Horea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Comișel. The Arabesque -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Comișel should have stopped the shot. Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Tătaru in the 42nd minute of the match. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Augustin Horea got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Comișel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Horea, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Arabesque -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Sportiv Medgidia were winning 1-2.

Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Tătaru in the 52nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute Corneliu Tătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corneliu Tătaru in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicu Arghirescu saved Club Sportiv Medgidia from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Corneliu Tătaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicu Arghirescu was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When Augustin Horea came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Club Sportiv Medgidia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Horea couldn't finish the play. Nicu Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Macri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Tătaru in the 76th minute of play. Petru Cristocea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Arabesque -MM-'s Adam Macri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Arghirescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Remus in the 85th minute of play. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Cristocea in the 88th minute of play. Arabesque -MM- were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club Sportiv Medgidia to leave the ground with a draw.
