Nicu Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Unciuleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costel Unciuleanu took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Unciuleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Martin Arseni kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jokūbas Gott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustin Horea in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Flavius Băieșu got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, Tutor Militari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Unciuleanu to maneuver through the defense. Robert Jităreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nicu Arghirescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tutor Militari's Costel Unciuleanu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Jităreanu in the 37th minute of play forced Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalkeeper Nicu Arghirescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Jităreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Martin Arseni scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Arghirescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Unciuleanu in the 45th minute of play. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Unciuleanu in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Tutor Militari were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Jităreanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Jităreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicu Arghirescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Costel Unciuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tutor Militari's supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Unciuleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Arghirescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Tutor Militari's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Horea came free, but Jokūbas Gott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stelian Hulubei hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Martin Iancu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicu Arghirescu made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Costel Unciuleanu sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Tutor Militari got a freekick which was hit by Darwin Nunez-Tesheira. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tutor Militari's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Matei was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Sportiv Medgidia's players had a chance to rest. In the 67th minute, Romeo Ungur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Jităreanu in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Sportiv Medgidia's zone, Costel Unciuleanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal and Costel Unciuleanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Augustin Horea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jokūbas Gott was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Stelian Hulubei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Costel Unciuleanu suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Liviu Alupulesei charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liviu Alupulesei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Alupulesei to maneuver through the defense. Club Sportiv Medgidia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Martin Arseni scored to the left of an out of position Nicu Arghirescu, making the score, 0-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Sebastian Matei put in a rough tackle. In the 93rd minute, Sebastian Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robert Jităreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
