Cornel Bodiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Alex Team's players had a chance to rest. João Francisco Moura made a great header on Alex Team's corner, it was just that Dacians Academy's Șerban Bulcă managed to reach the ball for a save. Aron Dichiseanu ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Alex Team's Afriz Cheng got a free kick in the 50th minute. A collision led to Alex Team getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Niculae Ştercă hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Aron Dichiseanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornel Bodiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Alex Team's Ricardo Erosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Șerban Bulcă. Șerban Bulcă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The Alex Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alex Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
