Octavian Bogdănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Dichiseanu in the 12th minute of the match. Gheorghe Vlăsiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Șerban Bulcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavian Bogdănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Dichiseanu in the 17th minute of play. Octavian Bogdănescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aron Dichiseanu, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gheorghe Vlăsiu's late challenge caught a Dacians Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Vlăsiu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Gheorghe Vlăsiu got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Capisizu came free, but Octavian Bogdănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dacians Academy booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Cobâlcescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacians Academy's Marius Capisizu got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valer Logofeteanu during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dacians Academy's Valer Logofeteanu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Augustin Nechifor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dacians Academy's Șerban Bulcă. Șerban Bulcă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augustin Nechifor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Șerban Bulcă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Nechifor's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Augustin Nechifor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Dacians Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Logofeteanu to maneuver through the defense. Șerban Bulcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Iorgu in the 59th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Dacians Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Barbosu to maneuver through the defense. Șerban Bulcă came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu. But to his dismay, Costin Iorgu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 71 played minutes Dacians Academy got a freekick which was hit by Horea Barbosu. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adam Buș hit a great ball. When Adam Enigărescu fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dacians Academy's protests and gave Adam Enigărescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Dacians Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Enigărescu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Steaua Pildesti had won after a very even match.
