Mădălin Băcila charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mădălin Băcila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when FC Politehnica Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Băcila didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iustin Udup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Leontin Boroș managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's supporters rose to their feet, but Leontin Boroș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiberiu Mischie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when FC Politehnica Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Paveliuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Valeriu Aanuţei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Dragoş Braniște played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Lucaci in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Lucaci in the 31st minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Dragoş Braniște to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute FC Politehnica Timisoara were awarded a corner. Ernest Eftimescu went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ernest Eftimescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dragoş Braniște quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luca Albulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 34 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Luca Albulescu. Dragoş Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Koren, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the last second Tiberiu Mischie throw himself and got hold of the ball when Valeriu Aanuţei in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Aanuţei in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, FC Politehnica Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Strugure to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Luca Albulescu tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tiberiu Mischie made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Luca Albulescu sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriu Aanuţei to make the kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Junior Stover from a close distance when the talented Dragoş Braniște managed to make a qualified save. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's players were relieved. Dragoş Braniște showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Stover in the 55th minute of the match. Dragoş Braniște was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Junior Stover showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Junior Stover's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Dragoş Braniște skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in LIVIUS UNITED MLS's zone, Junior Stover stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoş Braniște came out of the goal and Junior Stover tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Albulescu in the 69th minute of play. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Aanuţei in the 70th minute of the match. Pompiliu Cobzeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Dragoş Braniște made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodor Lucaci in the 78th minute. If Valeriu Aanuţei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Stover in the 82nd minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Dragoş Braniște to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Mădălin Băcila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mădălin Băcila came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC Politehnica Timisoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Băcila couldn't finish the play. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Pompiliu Cobzeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
