Sergiu Oneț who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Dumitru Nedelciu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Liverpool YnWa's George Hulubei got a free kick in the 34th minute. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marian Rada hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Sergiu Oneț cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dumitru Nedelciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Filipoiu in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Liverpool YnWa's goalkeeper Dumitru Nedelciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergiu Oneț was the one to do the kick off. Niculae Andronescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandru Anton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
