Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucian Ipate took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dumitru Nedelciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Strugure went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 7 minutes, Daniel Pantelimon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Liverpool YnWa and the FC Politehnica Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dumitru Nedelciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Borogeanu in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Strugure in the 18th minute of play forced FC Liverpool YnWa's goalkeeper Dumitru Nedelciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Nedelciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Strugure went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Emanuel Strugure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucrețiu Manolache took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dumitru Nedelciu. Dumitru Nedelciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 31st minute, Emanuel Strugure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Dumitru Nedelciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Manolache in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Manolache in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Liverpool YnWa's goalkeeper Dumitru Nedelciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half FC Politehnica Timisoara were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Strugure made a kick off. In the 51st minute, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Emanuel Strugure dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. FC Liverpool YnWa's Dumitru Nedelciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucrețiu Manolache in the 53rd minute of play. Dumitru Nedelciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Strugure in the 60th minute of the match. Octavian Beșleaga kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Strugure got free with Dumitru Nedelciu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes, George Hulubei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Liverpool YnWa and the FC Politehnica Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Iuzbașa's late challenge caught a FC Politehnica Timisoara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Iuzbașa helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Liverpool YnWa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! A collision led to FC Liverpool YnWa getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. George Hulubei hit a great ball. Dumitru Nedelciu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Costică Josan sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, FC Liverpool YnWa's goalkeeper Dumitru Nedelciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costică Josan. After having played for 90 minutes, Alexandru Anton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Liverpool YnWa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandru Anton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorin Lungu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Anghelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Costică Josan could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Dumitru Nedelciu however easily saved by the left post. George Hulubei hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
