Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sergiu Oneț got the match started through his kick off. Marian Novăceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Borogeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Borogeanu got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucrețiu Manolache. In the 10th minute Lucrețiu Manolache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Novăceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Manolache dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marian Novăceanu, 1-0. Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Izvoranu in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Gică Izvoranu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Mischie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Marian Rada hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when FC Ruscova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Enciulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costică Josan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Marian Novăceanu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Politehnica Timisoara's zone, Sergiu Oneț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Mischie came out of the goal and Sergiu Oneț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Flavius Amarandei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Maxim Hâjdău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Mischie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emanuel Strugure made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Emanuel Strugure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Novăceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Emanuel Strugure nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Novăceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Emanuel Strugure charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Oneț in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Sergiu Oneț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ruscova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergiu Oneț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Ruscova's Marian Novăceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Strugure in the 82nd minute of play. Mihnea Puric charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Puric the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihnea Puric hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Gică Izvoranu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiberiu Mischie. Gică Izvoranu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 94 minutes of play FC Politehnica Timisoara's Emanuel Strugure was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. FC Ruscova's Maxim Hâjdău got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
