Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Calistrat Şerbănescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horea Afloroaiei was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Su Liang Le during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Su Liang Le didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Levința in the 21st minute of play. Damian Cârlan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Vlad Covrig made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Moise Jienescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Sebastian Istodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Calistrat Şerbănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Afloroaiei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Jienescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vlad Covrig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Jupân kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca booed when Vlashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Jienescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Cârlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Afloroaiei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Dragu in the 47th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Levința to strike the kick off in the second half. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Levința in the 51st minute of play. Vlashers's Horea Afloroaiei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Cârlan in the 52nd minute of play. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Levința in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Vlashers got a corner. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeo Giurăscu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Romeo Giurăscu made a great header on Vlashers's corner, it was just that PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig managed to reach the ball for a save. Damian Cârlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Horea Afloroaiei made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Dragu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Covrig saved PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Olimpiu Fecioru got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Moise Jienescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petrică Dragu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Calistrat Şerbănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlashers the free kick. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Levința in the 80th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Vlashers got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Giurăscu. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Sebastian Istodor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Horea Afloroaiei but with some difficulty. Anthimos Kopitsis hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Vlashers's Moise Jienescu. But to his dismay, Moise Jienescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Olimpiu Fecioru hit a great ball. When Tiberiu Rotariu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's protests and gave Tiberiu Rotariu a yellow card for diving instead. Dinu Moșanu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 95 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Vlad Covrig right hand side. Vlashers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca for a fine match.
