Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Viorel Aluneanu kicked off to start the match. Ernest Mortu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Şteflea in the 4th minute of play. Viorel Aluneanu succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Nistor Iftimescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ernest Mortu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Mortu came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Vertigo's Nistor Iftimescu. But to his dismay, Nistor Iftimescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ernest Mortu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Iftimescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Sabin Corcoveanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ernest Mortu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Scheia's Ernest Mortu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Galiceanu in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Corcoveanu to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabin Corcoveanu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Viorel Pârvulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scheia's Ernest Mortu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Iftimescu in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute Remus Baciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Isvoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Isvoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Baciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute of the match Scheia got a corner. Club Vertigo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Remus Baciu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dan Florean almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Vertigo's Niculae Isvoreanu did a great save. 78 minutes into the match, Scheia's goalkeeper Ernest Mortu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabin Corcoveanu. Remus Baciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Isvoreanu having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Macrea. The supporters of Scheia booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Macrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Scheia's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Iftimescu came free, but Ernest Mortu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Nistor Iftimescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ernest Mortu, passed just outside the right post. Niculae Isvoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Aluneanu in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Vertigo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
