Gyepüpataka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, Afonsinho Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panait Hațegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Árpád Illés, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gyepüpataka getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cahangir Aliyev hit a great ball. Vintilă Chelbea kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Alin Bacalbașa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mădălin Cangeopol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alin Bacalbașa. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the game, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mădălin Cangeopol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alin Bacalbașa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Adrian Mutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mădălin Cangeopol got free with Alin Bacalbașa in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Mădălin Cangeopol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s attentive Ursus Martin managed to snatch the ball when Matei Berevoescu made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. Mădălin Cangeopol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alin Bacalbașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cahangir Aliyev to make the kick off. Alin Bacalbașa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Mutu in the 50th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Mutu in the 56th minute of play forced Gyepüpataka's goalkeeper Alin Bacalbașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Cangeopol ran back to his position shaking his head. Alin Bacalbașa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mădălin Cangeopol made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alin Bacalbașa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Mădălin Cangeopol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Adrian Mutu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Alin Bacalbașa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mădălin Cangeopol went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when Gyepüpataka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Berevoescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alin Bacalbașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Tractorul Satulung -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Szilárd Erdélyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Gyepüpataka's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Alin Bacalbașa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
