Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Remus Vermeşan made the kick off which started today's match. Tobias Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Bocaneț in the 5th minute of the match. MIT were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liviu Ciolacu took the corner. Sabin Eniceicu made a great header on MIT's corner, it was just that ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Tobias Incendio managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristinel Bocaneț hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Remus Vermeşan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vlad Anghel. Liviu Ciolacu might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Incendio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Ciolacu ran back to his position shaking his head. MIT's Vlad Anghel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Vermeşan in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Sabin Eniceicu fired a really elegant long shot, but Tobias Incendio threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 24 minutes, Andrei Opincaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT and the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Andrei Opincaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Incendio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leontin Iacobescu in the 26th minute. When Celsinho Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s protests and gave Celsinho Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. Celsinho Pereira hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Valer Papadima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MIT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASF BAIA MARE -MM- the free kick. A collision led to MIT getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Valer Papadima hit a great ball. Vlad Anghel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Vermeşan in the 40th minute of the match. During the 45th minute of the match Valer Papadima completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valer Papadima a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Papadima didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Iacobescu in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Incendio saved ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting behind. After the first half ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of MIT booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Brânzaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Leontin Iacobescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Incendio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s zone, Leontin Iacobescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Incendio came out of the goal and Leontin Iacobescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 minutes, Liviu Ciolacu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MIT and the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Liviu Ciolacu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Zdzislaw Rekowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vlad Anghel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Remus Vermeşan had several of the MIT's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Vlad Anghel as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Sandu Gheorghiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlad Anghel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Gheorghiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leontin Iacobescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Incendio having to interfere. Radu Rădoi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Eugen Lupea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vlad Anghel. Vlad Anghel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded ASF BAIA MARE -MM- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MIT.
