FC BRADUL -MM-'s Filip Andrițoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Lobonț in the 2nd minute of play. Basarab Teleagă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Andrițoiu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Lobonț in the 13th minute of play forced FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Filip Andrițoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Andrițoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valer Lobonț went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goalkeeper Dorin Arșanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niculae Brătescu. In the 23rd minute of the match, Silviu Văduvescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dorin Arșanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rovine Craiova's Dorin Arșanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Rovine Craiova from getting a goal against them. Filip Andrițoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Lobonț in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Valer Lobonț had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Andrițoiu. FC BRADUL -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valer Lobonț was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basarab Teleagă during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Basarab Teleagă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Vergulescu in the 47th minute of play forced FC BRADUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Filip Andrițoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

FC BRADUL -MM-'s Aristide Hăvârneanu was substituted for Alex Bădila. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Alin Hrib was substituted for Niculae Brătescu. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Cosmin Bungescu was substituted for Gavril Negulescu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgil Vergulescu to make the kick off. Dorin Arșanu had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Vali Voinea's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 81 minutes, Lucrețiu Dragoș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rovine Craiova and the FC BRADUL -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Rovine Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Dragoș to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC BRADUL -MM-'s Filip Andrițoiu got control of the ball when Valer Lobonț tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, FC BRADUL -MM-'s Silviu Văduvescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorin Arșanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Rovine Craiova's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
