Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The audience thought a goal was coming when Urs Nebunu got free with Iacob Vătăşel in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basarab Pârcălab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Cumpan in the 7th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Iacob Vătăşel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urs Nebunu. After a defensive mix-up in Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's zone, Urs Nebunu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iacob Vătăşel came out of the goal and Urs Nebunu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgil Cumpan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Basarab Pârcălab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basarab Pârcălab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Cumpan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Costel Vieru hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Virgil Cumpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Pârcălab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Cumpan in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Carpathians booed when Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Frumuzache didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Carpathians's Avram Gherase got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Virgil Cumpan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathians's Basarab Pârcălab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Cumpan in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Pârcălab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iacob Vătăşel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Gotti's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Basarab Pârcălab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Cumpan in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely booed when Carpathians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Georgescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Virgil Cumpan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Gotti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basarab Pârcălab came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Nae Amuguroancei. But to his dismay, Nae Amuguroancei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Carpathians's Basarab Pârcălab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Cumpan in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Costel Vieru made a precise shot to the right of Basarab Pârcălab. Carpathians's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Basarab Pârcălab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Cumpan in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Vieru came free, but Basarab Pârcălab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Carpathians got a freekick which was hit by Carmen Johannis. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Iacob Vătăşel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goalkeeper Basarab Pârcălab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionuț Petrea. In the 84th minute, Nae Amuguroancei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Carpathians booed when Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Hogaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Gotti in the 89th minute of play forced Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Iacob Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basarab Pârcălab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Amuguroancei in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Carpathians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmen Johannis to maneuver through the defense. When Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Nae Amuguroancei in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpathians's goalie prevented a goal. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
