Călin Izvoranu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Damian Târban. Horea Hristea charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horea Hristea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Hristea to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Busuioceanu in the 14th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Nistor Arjoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Nistor Arjoca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Busuioceanu in the 14th minute of play. Nistor Arjoca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Busuioceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Emilian Ciprian notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu. Călin Izvoranu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nistor Arjoca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Tâbârnă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Onete came free, but Nistor Arjoca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu got control of the ball when Eliodor Birișu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Tudorică in the 29th minute of play forced -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper Nistor Arjoca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Birișu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Călin Izvoranu made a huge save. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Francisc Onete got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leontin Tudorică kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to -BZF- Petrolul Berca getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Isac Baldovin hit a great ball. Marius Turcu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nistor Arjoca. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Octav Martinaș replaced Vasile Hâncu. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilian Ciprian made a kick off. Dan Burdujan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Călin Izvoranu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliodor Birișu's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When David Tâbârnă fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s protests and gave David Tâbârnă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tâbârnă to maneuver through the defense. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Coșereanu in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by David Tâbârnă. Nistor Arjoca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octav Martinaș in the 80th minute. Isac Baldovin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octav Martinaș got free with Nistor Arjoca in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Octav Martinaș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nistor Arjoca. Nistor Arjoca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. If Emilian Ciprian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Octav Martinaș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Arjoca. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octav Martinaș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Francisc Onete hit a great ball. Călin Izvoranu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Birișu in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC PIETROSUL -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
