Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adrian Zbora started the match with the kick off. Igor Kelemen made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Valentin Voicu sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the game, Benny Škriniar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Paul Stoian quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 7 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Angheluță. Marin Tufescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Igor Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karl-Michael Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hunor Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti defense, Marin Tufescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Kelemen. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Kelemen should have stopped the shot. After 19 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Paul Stoian. Ponce Cruzado charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ponce Cruzado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ponce Cruzado hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Wagner Doro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunor Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hunor Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Igor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Tufescu in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Wagner Doro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hunor Csapó was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 38th minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunor Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 40th minute of play. Ionuț Contra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hunor Csapó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Brask made a kick off. In the 54th minute Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were awarded a corner. Ponce Cruzado went to the cornerflag to take it. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Ponce Cruzado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hunor Csapó in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Tufescu to maneuver through the defense. Benny Škriniar kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Igor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Brask in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Zbora came free, but Igor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Benny Škriniar hit a great ball. Buffalo Timişoara made a substitution. Ionică Buculeasa replaced Marin Tufescu. With a left leg Igor Kelemen saved Batalionul U23 Dorobanti from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Voicu in the 76th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Igor Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ionică Buculeasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Buffalo Timişoara's players had a chance to rest. 79 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Brask came free, but Hunor Csapó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentin Voicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauro Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Valentin Voicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Kelemen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
