Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergiu Coșeriu started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Rio's goalkeeper Aurelian Coporan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 3 minutes into the game, FC Acatar's Eldridge Marshall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelian Coporan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mihai Oniga kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Aurelian Coporan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phoenix Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Carlos Urre notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan. Aurelian Coporan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the game, Dumitru Pantelimon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia Rio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Acatar the free kick. Dumitru Pantelimon hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, Carlos Urre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aurelian Coporan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cristian Cenușă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eldridge Marshall hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Carlos Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Urre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Coporan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Valeriu Ilinca charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valeriu Ilinca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Ilinca. Carlos Urre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aurelian Coporan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelian Coporan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Urre in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Păvăloae came free, but Remus Pincemin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Pincemin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Păvăloae, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Carlos Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Urre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Carlos Urre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd match minute, FC Acatar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Pruss to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Urre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelian Coporan having to make a save. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eldridge Marshall hit a great ball. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Academia Rio from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan got control of the ball when Carlos Urre tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Phoenix Phoenix took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Aurelian Coporan to make any attempt to save it. In the 71st minute, Virgil Şimonca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristian Cenușă in the 74 minute of the game. FC Acatar's Remus Pincemin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Păvăloae in the 76th minute of play. Academia Rio's attentive Valeriu Ilinca managed to snatch the ball when Tadeo Vachon made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Remus Pincemin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Suşu in the 83rd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Cenușă. In the 95th match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Oltean to maneuver through the defense. The FC Acatar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
