In the 9th minute of the match -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a corner. Emerald's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Viorel Bungescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on -BZF- Barca de Buzau's corner Viorel Bungescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bogdan Lobonț quite easily take care of the ball. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Guerrero in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Jonathan Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Chiru made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jonathan Petersson immediately put the ball in play. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Damian Furlit got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Guerrero in the 29th minute of the match. Francisco Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Lobonț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Guerrero's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 33 minutes, Francisco Guerrero made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Emerald's Bogdan Lobonț tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Petersson took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Lobonț. Bogdan Lobonț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Petersson in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jonathan Petersson made the kick off in the second half. When Emerald's Victor Piţurcă in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute Emerald were awarded a corner. Victor Piţurcă went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Emerald's Gheorghe Craioveanu to a score. 1-3 in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Petersson in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Lobonț saved Emerald from getting behind. Bogdan Lobonț made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Francisco Guerrero sent off a good shot on target. When -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Francisco Guerrero, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for -BZF- Barca de Buzau. Bogdan Lobonț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Ekialde in the 75th minute. Bogdan Lobonț was a little too slow when Francisco Guerrero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-4. Big Saver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vermeşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Emerald booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vermeşan in the 84th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Big Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Emerald was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Félix Júnior didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Viorel Bungescu from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Bogdan Lobonț's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Big Saver came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan. But to his dismay, Gabriel Vermeşan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Gabriel Vermeşan got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. -BZF- Barca de Buzau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
