The referee ignored Armada's protests and gave Ma Feng Sen a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by Ma Feng Sen. Armada's Cristi Miheș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Armada from getting a goal against them. Eintracht Cernavoda's Halil Utku Evvah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kylian Henry in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kylian Henry in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halil Utku Evvah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Kylian Henry put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Halil Utku Evvah. Halil Utku Evvah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kylian Henry in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Eintracht Cernavoda's goal looked a bit too open when Kylian Henry came free, but Halil Utku Evvah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kylian Henry in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halil Utku Evvah saved Eintracht Cernavoda from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Gologan came free, but Cristi Miheș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eintracht Cernavoda's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Kylian Henry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Halil Utku Evvah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Anastasiu charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Anastasiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Eintracht Cernavoda booed when Armada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Anastasiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Armada were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Mihai Nițescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kylian Henry got free with Halil Utku Evvah in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armada's Edgar Șeicaru quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mihai Nițescu, made in the 57th minute of the game. A hard shot 62 in the game by Iosif Şiman from a close distance when the talented Halil Utku Evvah managed to make a qualified save. Eintracht Cernavoda's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Eintracht Cernavoda's zone, Kylian Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Utku Evvah came out of the goal and Kylian Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armada made a substitution. Liviu Buceceanu replaced Kylian Henry. Eintracht Cernavoda's Halil Utku Evvah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Eintracht Cernavoda from getting a goal against them.
