The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute of the match Rezurekcja Gomulin got a corner. PTC Pabianice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartosz Bendyk ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Rezurekcja Gomulin fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Rezurekcja Gomulin's Grzegorz Kensicki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Rezurekcja Gomulin's Jedrzej Cupial got control of the ball when Lukasz Majkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariusz Pyrtek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Lepucki in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobald Lepucki in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Pyrtek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by PTC Pabianice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartosz Bendyk was slow to take the kick. During this time Rezurekcja Gomulin's players had a chance to rest. Bartosz Bendyk made a great header on Rezurekcja Gomulin's corner, it was just that PTC Pabianice's Mariusz Pyrtek managed to reach the ball for a save. 28 minutes into the match, Teobald Lepucki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Pyrtek. PTC Pabianice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobald Lepucki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mariusz Pyrtek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Kensicki in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Grzegorz Kensicki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Pyrtek. PTC Pabianice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grzegorz Kensicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 35th minute Lukasz Majkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jedrzej Cupial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes Rezurekcja Gomulin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustaw Klejnowski who took care of the corner kick. PTC Pabianice's Gustaw Klejnowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jedrzej Cupial in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Domarecki in the 39th minute of play forced Rezurekcja Gomulin's goalkeeper Jedrzej Cupial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to PTC Pabianice getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Izydor Michnik hit a great ball. Mariusz Pyrtek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Kensicki in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lukasz Majkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Bogdan Domarecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jedrzej Cupial was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rezurekcja Gomulin! Jedrzej Cupial had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Gustaw Klejnowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With an all-out effort, Rezurekcja Gomulin's Mariusz Pyrtek threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartlomiej Liermann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mariusz Pyrtek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Kensicki in the 65th minute of the match. PTC Pabianice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartlomiej Liermann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rezurekcja Gomulin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
