Rezurekcja Gomulin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortuna 86 Szczecin the free kick. In the 2nd minute, Wit Cempa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grzegorz Kensicki struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Marian Janoško didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rezurekcja Gomulin. After a defensive mix-up in Fortuna 86 Szczecin's zone, Ignacy Skirzynski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Janoško came out of the goal and Ignacy Skirzynski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Ignacy Skirzynski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marian Janoško was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Rezurekcja Gomulin's Jedrzej Cupial got control of the ball when Zachary Cwojdak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Rezurekcja Gomulin defense, Zachary Cwojdak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jedrzej Cupial. The Rezurekcja Gomulin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jedrzej Cupial should have stopped the shot. After 21 minutes, Mikolaj Dziuma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rezurekcja Gomulin and the Fortuna 86 Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rezurekcja Gomulin's Mikolaj Dziuma got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ziemowit Frodyma hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jedrzej Cupial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachary Cwojdak in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Kensicki came free, but Marian Janoško reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zachary Czapski made a great header on Rezurekcja Gomulin's corner, it was just that Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Marian Janoško managed to reach the ball for a save.
