Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Zgierskie Zlewy from getting a goal against them. 4 minutes into the match, Napoleon Literski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladyslaw Siwek. Tequila Sunrise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Napoleon Literski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Tequila Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Literski came free, but Wladyslaw Siwek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Jurand Maciejewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tequila Sunrise's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jurand Maciejewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jurand Maciejewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Zgierskie Zlewy's Wladyslaw Bulkiewicz got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jan Andrzejewski was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Marcin Konieczny capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcin Konieczny really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 29th minute Napoleon Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wladyslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zgierskie Zlewy getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jedrzej Kempski hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Barnaba Bazylnikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Jurand Maciejewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wladyslaw Siwek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Tequila Sunrise's Wladyslaw Siwek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Kempski in the 38th minute of play. Wladyslaw Siwek came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Zgierskie Zlewy's Barnaba Bazylnikov. But to his dismay, Barnaba Bazylnikov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Zgierskie Zlewy's zone, Roch Zbikowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Andrzejewski came out of the goal and Roch Zbikowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Konieczny came free, but Jan Andrzejewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Zgierskie Zlewy's Napoleon Literski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wladyslaw Siwek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnaba Bazylnikov made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Tequila Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Bazylnikov came free, but Wladyslaw Siwek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Tequila Sunrise's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Siwek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barnaba Bazylnikov. In the 60th minute, Gwidon Matuch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barnaba Bazylnikov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 63rd playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Konieczny in the 68th minute of play forced Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Jan Andrzejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Stefan Bugajski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zgierskie Zlewy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tequila Sunrise the free kick. Wladyslaw Siwek made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Barnaba Bazylnikov sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Jedrzej Kempski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wladyslaw Siwek. Jedrzej Kempski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. When Hieronim Misiorowski fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tequila Sunrise's protests and gave Hieronim Misiorowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Tequila Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Misiorowski. Zgierskie Zlewy played a much better game than Tequila Sunrise and deserved their victory. The Tequila Sunrise players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
