Stefan Ciempa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizka Ponce De Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Ciempa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Wawak, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Zielonka Gdansk's Stefan Ciempa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaizka Ponce De Leon in the 27th minute of play. Zbyszko Basaik made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Krzysztof Kluska sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Slawomir Wawak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Ciempa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Warteczka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaizka Ponce De Leon to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Warteczka's goalkeeper Zbyszko Basaik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Kluska. 41 minutes into the match, Warteczka's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Kluska came free, but Zbyszko Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krzysztof Kluska to make the kick off. Zbyszko Basaik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robertas Lewandowski went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Gaizka Ponce De Leon had several of the Zielonka Gdansk's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Stefan Ciempa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cyryl Adamczak hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes Warteczka got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Lizewski. Zielonka Gdansk's Krzysztof Kluska got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Ciempa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizka Ponce De Leon in the 68th minute of the match. Stefan Ciempa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Wawak, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Krzysztof Kluska struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Zbyszko Basaik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zielonka Gdansk. Cyryl Adamczak in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Zielonka Gdansk's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Kluska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbyszko Basaik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. From close distance Cyryl Adamczak pressed in the 4-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 79 minutes into the game. Florian Glogowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zielonka Gdansk's Krzysztof Kluska in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krzysztof Kluska during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zielonka Gdansk had won after a very even match.
