The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Sawino SA's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Sowa came free, but Wit Drab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Waselenczuk in the 24th minute of play forced Sawino SA's goalkeeper Wit Drab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wit Drab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Szkaradek in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Sawino SA's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Waselenczuk came free, but Wit Drab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Marchlewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Marchlewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes LKS Do Bigosu got a freekick which was hit by Edward Marchlewicz. In the 29th minute of the match Tomasz Gollob shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gwidon Sawicki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Barnaba Waselenczuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wit Drab was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Barnaba Waselenczuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Gwidon Sawicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sawino SA fans cheered their team off the field, for while LKS Do Bigosu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
