When Jaroslaw Skaradoski fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Twierdza Wroclaw's protests and gave Jaroslaw Skaradoski a yellow card for diving instead. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Grzegorz Skikiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Sokolski in the 5th minute of play. If Eugeniusz Sokolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Tolek Bartocha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grzegorz Skikiewicz, 1-0. Tytus Zieba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Grzegorz Skikiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Sokolski came free, but Grzegorz Skikiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Twierdza Wroclaw got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Jakisz. After a rather tough play, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Bogdan Zagrobelny got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tytus Zieba could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Grzegorz Skikiewicz however easily saved by the left post. In the 21st minute, Bogdan Zagrobelny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Bartocha came free, but Grzegorz Skikiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Tolek Bartocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twierdza Wroclaw fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tolek Bartocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Skikiewicz having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Twierdza Wroclaw's Eugeniusz Sokolski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Grzegorz Skikiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Sokolski in the 40th minute of the match. Marian Okopny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Skikiewicz having to interfere. Grzegorz Skikiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Cytrynski in the 43rd minute of play. ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Grzegorz Skikiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Bartocha in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eugeniusz Turek made the kick off in the second half. Tytus Zieba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugeniusz Sokolski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Grzegorz Skikiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariasz Jakisz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Norbert Gregorczyk came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Gregorczyk couldn't finish the play. Grzegorz Skikiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Bartocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Zieba in the 68th minute of play forced ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goalkeeper Grzegorz Skikiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Skikiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Sokolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Grzegorz Skikiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Okopny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grzegorz Skikiewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tytus Zieba went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Grzegorz Skikiewicz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Twierdza Wroclaw's Eugeniusz Sokolski. But to his dismay, Eugeniusz Sokolski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Kazimierz Miazga's late challenge caught a Twierdza Wroclaw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kazimierz Miazga helped the player get up and apologised. Kazimierz Miazga hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Eugeniusz Sokolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Skikiewicz was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Grzegorz Skikiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Sokolski in the 85th minute of the match. Grzegorz Skikiewicz came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Twierdza Wroclaw's Tolek Bartocha. But to his dismay, Tolek Bartocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 93rd minute, Eugeniusz Sokolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Twierdza Wroclaw fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Twierdza Wroclaw fully deserved thier win.
