If Pankracy Nakoneczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cosmos 1984 NewDance booed when Jar.C Lipno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Wawak didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Jaroszewicz in the 30th minute of play forced Jar.C Lipno's goalkeeper Herbert Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Nakoneczny might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Józef Wandzik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pankracy Nakoneczny ran back to his position shaking his head. Józef Wandzik was a little too slow when Dobromir Pilitowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 34th minute, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aureliusz Labus fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pankracy Nakoneczny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Józef Wandzik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Juliusz Ziombkowski got a free kick in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dobromir Pilitowski made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jar.C Lipno's Waldemar Nigbor seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Waldemar Nigbor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jar.C Lipno protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Waldemar Nigbor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. It was beautiful to see Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Ludomil Wos in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Herbert Trzaskoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Jaroszewicz in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Trzaskoma was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Kryspin Jaroszewicz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Herbert Trzaskoma, passed just outside the right post. Herbert Trzaskoma made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny sent off a good shot on target. Herbert Trzaskoma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny in the 71st minute. Dobromir Pilitowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Jar.C Lipno's Herbert Trzaskoma got control of the ball when Kryspin Jaroszewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Pilitowski in the 77th minute of play forced Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fryderyk Paraszczuk hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Pankracy Nakoneczny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kryspin Jaroszewicz in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herbert Trzaskoma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cosmos 1984 NewDance players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
