Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Hludzenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes AKS Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Solecki. In the 32nd minute Leszek Hludzenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Ziombkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Grocholski in the 33rd minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Grocholski to make the kick off. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Czerny, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Emil Czerny rounded AKS Chorzów's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. After 59 minutes, Mateusz Solecki mouthed his way into the referee's book. AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save AKS Chorzów from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Hludzenski in the 67th minute of play forced AKS Chorzów's goalkeeper Dariusz Ziombkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Grocholski got free with Dariusz Ziombkowski in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Grocholski scored 0-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dariusz Ziombkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michal Dobrowski took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Ziombkowski. Dariusz Ziombkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as MS Rybnik's Emil Czerny slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 0-8 after 92 minutes of play.
