Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Hammer Zdanów's Wincenty Wiatrak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Herbert Gomolka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincenty Wiatrak in the 6th minute of play. When Pankracy Rywin fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammer Zdanów's protests and gave Pankracy Rywin a yellow card for diving instead. Herbert Gomolka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pankracy Rywin went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Herbert Gomolka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Wasikowski in the 13th minute of play. After 18 minutes GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacek Wozniak who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Radowit Burufski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 26 minutes into the match, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Wiatrak came free, but Herbert Gomolka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Hammer Zdanów's Olgierd Wasikowski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olgierd Wasikowski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hammer Zdanów protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olgierd Wasikowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Hammer Zdanów:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ:s goal. After a rather tough play, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Wasyl Mentus got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Herbert Gomolka came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hammer Zdanów's Wincenty Wiatrak. But to his dismay, Wincenty Wiatrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, Slawomir Koczara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Gomolka. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Slawomir Koczara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Herbert Gomolka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Wiatrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wasyl Mentus during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wit Kasperowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herbert Gomolka didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. 55 minutes into the match, Hammer Zdanów's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Kasperowicz came free, but Beniamin Balkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Slawomir Koczara came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Hammer Zdanów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slawomir Koczara couldn't finish the play. Herbert Gomolka made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Wincenty Wiatrak sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Koczara came free, but Herbert Gomolka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Hieronim Derlanga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Gomolka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wincenty Wiatrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Hammer Zdanów's Slawomir Koczara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Gomolka. Herbert Gomolka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. If Slawomir Koczara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Wincenty Wiatrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Herbert Gomolka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Wincenty Wiatrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beniamin Balkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Burdalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Gomolka was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Wincenty Wiatrak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wincenty Wiatrak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Hammer Zdanów left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ.
