After 5 minutes Joga Bonito's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacek Wozniak who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Hammer Zdanów's Jacek Wozniak to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Hryc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 7th minute, Zbyszko Dula made a precise shot to the right of Beniamin Balkiewicz. Hammer Zdanów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Sylwester Andrychowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Balkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Joga Bonito's Radomil Czekaj seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Radomil Czekaj the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Joga Bonito protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Radomil Czekaj had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 16 minutes into the game, one of Joga Bonito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joga Bonito:s Iwan Hryc showed great skill when he stopped Jacek Wozniak:s penalty. Pankracy Rywin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Hryc having to interfere. Iwan Hryc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincenty Wiatrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the game, Wincenty Wiatrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Iwan Hryc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iwan Hryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Wasikowski in the 31st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wincenty Wiatrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Iwan Hryc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slawomir Koczara. In the 55th minute of the match Hammer Zdanów got a corner. Joga Bonito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacek Wozniak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszko Dula in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beniamin Balkiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Robert Chrzan came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Joga Bonito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Chrzan couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Zbyszko Dula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beniamin Balkiewicz was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Zbyszko Dula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Beniamin Balkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Zbyszko Dula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga Bonito's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszko Dula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beniamin Balkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Hammer Zdanów players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
