A collision led to Mauda getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Antoni Falk hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Palzewicz in the 9th minute of play forced FC Kraków1983's goalkeeper Tobiasz Klawke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Wincenty Wisniewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kraków1983 and the Mauda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wincenty Wisniewski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Tobiasz Klawke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Palzewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Radomil Mentis sped through Mauda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artur Walczyk. Herbert Brysz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Benedykt Palzewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maciej Drzewucki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cezary Antoszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tobiasz Klawke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauda's Artur Walczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Mentis in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Witomir Pyrzyce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mauda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witomir Pyrzyce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of FC Kraków1983 booed when Mauda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Brysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maciej Drzewucki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
