The supporters of Red Devils booed when Varsovia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Serwach didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olgierd Snaza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Red Devils's zone, Olgierd Snaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Golaszewski came out of the goal and Olgierd Snaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olgierd Snaza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krzysztof Golaszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Jakub Pawlak hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Krzysztof Golaszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Snaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Snaza in the 69th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Krzysztof Golaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Varsovia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
