In the 15th match minute, FC Grodzka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Grondzki to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Galja Kraków's Sebastian Hodyl tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateusz Fudalej in the 20th minute of play forced Galja Kraków's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Lichniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyprian Knopek in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaroslaw Lichniak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wincent Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Rasiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. Konrad Juroszek charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konrad Juroszek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Galja Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Juroszek. Stefan Siara's late challenge caught a Galja Kraków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. FC Grodzka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boruc Rasiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After having played for 78 minutes, Boruc Rasiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galja Kraków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boruc Rasiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galja Kraków's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
