The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Wieslaw Maziarski fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS LEW Chorzów's protests and gave Wieslaw Maziarski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Wieslaw Maziarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Konrad Poniewaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wit Kasperowicz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 11 played minutes Konrad Poniewaz rounded KS LEW Chorzów's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, KS LEW Chorzów's Wieslaw Maziarski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antoni Fiszer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Konrad Poniewaz hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. KOLIBER OCYPEL's Antoni Fiszer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Budzynski in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Frenzel came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Zanette. In the 22nd minute, KOLIBER OCYPEL's Ziemowit Slazak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wit Kasperowicz. Wit Kasperowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Slazak came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes KOLIBER OCYPEL got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Flis. Antoni Fiszer came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by KS LEW Chorzów's Mikolaj Budzynski. But to his dismay, Mikolaj Budzynski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Wieslaw Frenzel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. KOLIBER OCYPEL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Juliusz Cuber hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. KOLIBER OCYPEL's Antoni Fiszer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Budzynski in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Wieslaw Frenzel took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Wit Kasperowicz to make any attempt to save it.

Jurand Zima kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KOLIBER OCYPEL's goalkeeper Antoni Fiszer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stefan Karwowski kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, KS LEW Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Karwowski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when KOLIBER OCYPEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Zima didn't get a good kick on the ball. When KS LEW Chorzów's Mikolaj Budzynski in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. KOLIBER OCYPEL's Antoni Fiszer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save KOLIBER OCYPEL from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Maziarski lined in a short shot 3-5 behind a frustrated Antoni Fiszer. KOLIBER OCYPEL made a substitution. Damian Pachucki replaced Ziemowit Slazak. 92 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Napoleon Panasewicz came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wit Kasperowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Pachucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of KS LEW Chorzów echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KOLIBER OCYPEL had held the ball for most of the match.
