The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugeniusz Sochacki came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Thunderstorm Riders's Zbyszko Budacz. But to his dismay, Zbyszko Budacz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yu Hui Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel do Vale having to make a save. Miguel do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Hui Peng in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 minutes, Szczepan Piesciuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JUNICO Ełk and the Thunderstorm Riders players grew even worse after the yellow card. JUNICO Ełk's Eugeniusz Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Dulka in the 12th minute of play. Eugeniusz Sochacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Dulka, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. JUNICO Ełk's Eugeniusz Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Dulka in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Leonard Pochorylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Sochacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Thunderstorm Riders getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Korneliusz Kolba hit a great ball. JUNICO Ełk's Eugeniusz Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Budacz in the 24th minute of play. Eugeniusz Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Pochorylo in the 25th minute of play. Miguel do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Hui Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Miguel do Vale had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Yu Hui Peng from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thunderstorm Riders's Miguel do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Thunderstorm Riders from getting a goal against them. After 31 minutes of play, Thunderstorm Riders's Leonard Pochorylo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Sochacki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Hui Peng in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Hui Peng in the 39th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Miguel do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, JUNICO Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Pochorylo came free, but Eugeniusz Sochacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thunderstorm Riders were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after JUNICO Ełk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonard Pochorylo took the corner. Leonard Pochorylo made a great header on Thunderstorm Riders's corner, it was just that JUNICO Ełk's Eugeniusz Sochacki managed to reach the ball for a save. The JUNICO Ełk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thunderstorm Riders were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zbigniew Orling to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Hui Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Borys Dulka got free with Eugeniusz Sochacki in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 minutes JUNICO Ełk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonard Pochorylo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Leonard Pochorylo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JUNICO Ełk's Eugeniusz Sochacki did a great save. Eugeniusz Sochacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Luty in the 58th minute of play. Miguel do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Eugeniusz Sochacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Dulka in the 62nd minute. Miguel do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Nascimento in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Nascimento came free, but Miguel do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonard Pochorylo got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Eugeniusz Sochacki was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. JUNICO Ełk's Teofil Mirowski was substituted for Yu Hui Peng. JUNICO Ełk's João Félix was substituted for Zbigniew Orling. JUNICO Ełk's Sander Hakk was substituted for Alfred Sobania. After 71 played minutes Thunderstorm Riders got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Kolba. Thunderstorm Riders's Marek Tyskie was substituted for Zbyszko Budacz. In the 72nd match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Kolba to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Thunderstorm Riders booed when JUNICO Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Piesciuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szczepan Piesciuk hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Leonard Pochorylo from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Eugeniusz Sochacki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. João Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel do Vale having to make a save. Teofil Mirowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofil Mirowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Mirowski in the 83rd minute of play. Teofil Mirowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel do Vale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Félix in the 88th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Miguel do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Pochorylo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugeniusz Sochacki came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonard Pochorylo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, João Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Teofil Mirowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Thunderstorm Riders's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
