A collision led to WZG Sandomierz getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alper Benli hit a great ball. After 3 played minutes, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constantin Mudura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Veth Crystals reached it. Tiburcio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Basaik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When WZG Sandomierz's Andrzej Juskowiak in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tiburcio Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrzej Juskowiak in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora got a free kick in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrzej Juskowiak during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiburcio Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Basaik in the 45th minute. When Cyryl Zielinski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veth Crystals's protests and gave Cyryl Zielinski a yellow card for diving instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Juskowiak came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrzej Juskowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Ludomir Radzyminski replaced Nedas Jameikis. After a rather tough play, Veth Crystals's Ludomir Radzyminski got a free kick in the 67th minute. After taking down the ball on WZG Sandomierz's corner Mariusz Basaik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiburcio Jakue quite easily take care of the ball. In the game's 69th minute WZG Sandomierz's Mariusz Basaik took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Tiburcio Jakue and thus the score was 5-1. Józef Kalafus charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Józef Kalafus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Józef Kalafus. 76 minutes into the match, WZG Sandomierz's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Wierzbicki came free, but Constantin Mudura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Juskowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Andrzej Juskowiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiburcio Jakue. Veth Crystals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrzej Juskowiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After 88 minutes of play, Veth Crystals's Gabriel Vaz made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantin Mudura was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute of the match, Raul Loramendi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Constantin Mudura was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 95th minute, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
