Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) East Ham United's Theo Groom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save East Ham United from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute of the match, Kent Remme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Theo Groom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kai Østbye received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Theo Groom came out and tried to block the shot, but Kai Østbye slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Theo Groom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, East Ham United's Mike Callery got a free kick in the 16th minute. Emanuel Markham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Theo Groom made a huge save. Borys Witek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Robson's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kai Østbye kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Theo Groom. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kent Remme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theo Groom was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Jan-Kenneth Heistad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Groom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, East Ham United's Harry Robson got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, East Ham United's Theo Groom got control of the ball when Emanuel Markham tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Emanuel Markham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Robson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Markham made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, East Ham United's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Markham came free, but Theo Groom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Kai Østbye made a precise shot to the right of Theo Groom. East Ham United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 60th minute, Emanuel Markham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brufoss IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 63rd minute, Kent Remme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theo Groom was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Frode Tobiassen replaced Kai Østbye. Brufoss IL's Kevin Strømsnes was substituted for Jan-Kenneth Heistad. Emanuel Markham struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Theo Groom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brufoss IL. In the 71st minute, Christer Ribe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brufoss IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Theo Groom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Remme in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Groom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when East Ham United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Robson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Schol hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, East Ham United's Quentin Bell tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the East Ham United defense, Kent Remme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Groom. The East Ham United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Groom should have stopped the shot. Christer Ribe might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theo Groom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christer Ribe ran back to his position shaking his head. East Ham United's Theo Groom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Ribe in the 87th minute of play. Theo Groom came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Brufoss IL's Christer Ribe. But to his dismay, Christer Ribe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frode Tobiassen in the 92nd minute of play forced East Ham United's goalkeeper Theo Groom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
