Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ari Alin started the match with the kick off. Dan Elwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Alin in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Parma Wanderers booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Alin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ashley Knight-Percival scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jere Noronen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 16 minutes, Ari Alin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karhulan Veikot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ari Alin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Ari Alin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karhulan Veikot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jere Noronen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cliff Gordon's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Cliff Gordon succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Cliff Gordon sped through Karhulan Veikot's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jere Noronen. Dan Elwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Alin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cliff Gordon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jere Noronen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Karhulan Veikot got a freekick which was hit by Kaarle Tukio. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Parma Wanderers's Ashley Knight-Percival got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Valentin Uusiniemi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karhulan Veikot's protests and gave Valentin Uusiniemi a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Uusiniemi hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cliff Gordon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jere Noronen came out and tried to block the shot, but Cliff Gordon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 59th minute. Ashley Knight-Percival scored 1-6 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jere Noronen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70thth minute of the game Cliff Gordon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karhulan Veikot's Jere Noronen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Parma Wanderers's Doroteo Bernal got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rasmus Poikolainen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karhulan Veikot's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasmus Poikolainen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Elwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 minutes, Ashley Knight-Percival mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parma Wanderers and the Karhulan Veikot players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Ashley Knight-Percival got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Cliff Gordon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Jere Noronen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ari Alin in the 90th minute of play forced Parma Wanderers's goalkeeper Dan Elwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Parma Wanderers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karhulan Veikot throughout the match.
