Charlie Monk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Fuller in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Parma Wanderers's Danny Hallam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Asmund Ødegård made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 14 minutes, Runar Røe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikjorden and the Parma Wanderers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vikjorden's Runar Røe got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Cliff Gordon notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård. Asmund Ødegård was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Cliff Gordon made a precise shot to the right of Asmund Ødegård. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cliff Gordon in the 38th minute of play forced Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Parma Wanderers's Rio Fuller made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Asmund Ødegård was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Parma Wanderers's Doroteo Bernal got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half Parma Wanderers were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cliff Gordon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Asmund Ødegård stood somewhat misplaced when Johnnie Walker came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 52 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnnie Walker in the 55th minute of play forced Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cliff Gordon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Asmund Ødegård 61 minutes into the match. Asmund Ødegård stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Monk's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Asmund Ødegård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Gordon in the 67th minute of the match. Cliff Gordon in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Asmund Ødegård, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 72nd minute, Charlie Monk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Parma Wanderers's Johnnie Walker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Asmund Ødegård. Asmund Ødegård yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Johnnie Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parma Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnnie Walker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asmund Ødegård breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asmund Ødegård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Hallam in the 81st minute of play. Danny Hallam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Asmund Ødegård came out and tried to block the shot, but Danny Hallam slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Vikjorden's goal looked a bit too open when Rio Fuller came free, but Asmund Ødegård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Hallam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Asmund Ødegård made a huge save. Johnnie Walker struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Asmund Ødegård didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parma Wanderers. Runar Hagen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Rio Fuller came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Parma Wanderers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rio Fuller couldn't finish the play. When Parma Wanderers's Johnnie Walker, in the 96th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Parma Wanderers. The Vikjorden fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Parma Wanderers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
