Angelino Figueroa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Runar Støen having to make a save. Arrows Academy FC's Frankie Child played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Vie in the 9th minute of play. Kim Alnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Frankie Child made a huge save. The supporters of Arrows Academy FC booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnt Honningsvåg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicholas Sercombe kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Petter Vartdal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frankie Child skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Arrows Academy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eg Vega didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arrows Academy FC's Anselmo Rodas got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Petter Vartdal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åsnes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Vartdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frankie Child made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Vie in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Vie in the 45th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Frankie Child to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arrows Academy FC! Frankie Child went to the wrong direction when Petter Vartdal was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kim Alnes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Petter Vartdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Kim Alnes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsnes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrows Academy FC the free kick. Kim Alnes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Frankie Child showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Vie in the 80th minute of the match. Frankie Child took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Vie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Alnes in the 87th minute of play forced Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Frankie Child to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
