Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) SSV Ulm 1846's Klemens Hugo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of St. James Gate F.C. booed when SSV Ulm 1846 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laslo Geier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klemens Hugo in the 15th minute of play forced St. James Gate F.C.'s goalkeeper Todd Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, St. James Gate F.C.'s Berrigan Hunt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Berrigan Hunt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of St. James Gate F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Berrigan Hunt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for St. James Gate F.C.! St. James Gate F.C.:s Todd Murphy showed great skill when he stopped Luka Roth:s penalty. St. James Gate F.C.'s Todd Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klemens Hugo in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th minute, St. James Gate F.C.'s Roland Prunty dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. St. James Gate F.C.'s Todd Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klemens Hugo in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Roland Prunty dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexander Strzelczyk, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bodibeua Lester in the 54th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Alexander Strzelczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Fricke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Todd Murphy made a huge save. Alexander Strzelczyk came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by St. James Gate F.C.'s Roland Prunty. But to his dismay, Roland Prunty quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Roland Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bodibeua Lester hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Amadeo Brase hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Roland Prunty charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Prunty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 booed when St. James Gate F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Prunty didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes St. James Gate F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Berchan Gollogley. In the 89th minute Oskar Zimmert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Murphy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Strzelczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Prunty in the 93rd minute of play. Alexander Strzelczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the SSV Ulm 1846 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for St. James Gate F.C..
